Girls Empowerment Event 2023

The Kerra Loves Kids and Caribbean Women’s Network team hosted our third annual Girl’s Empowerment luncheon event at St. Joseph Police Youth Club. This project was designed for young, underprivileged girls in the local community. We incorporated motivational speaking and engaging activities such as mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, cupcake decorating, and a nail painting pamper session. Artiste Mela Caribe also surprised the girls and shared encouraging words and laughter. As the day ended, they were presented with food hampers, gifts, personal care items, and school supplies.
